MANIFOLDS |
The company is a
specialist in producing exhaust manifolds, including water
cooled versions, in prototype, low and medium volume for diesel
engines ranging from 50hp to 50,000hp.
Materials specified for these parts are typically ferritic S.G.
iron - SI/MO Ductile Iron and NiResist.
COMPRESSORS |
Manufacture of a wide range of castings for the
compressor industry is a second element of our core business
parallel to exhaust manifolds.
Both elements have common casting requirements i.e
capability to contain gases and liquids, frequently at high
temperature and pressure, and regularly within the same casting.
Wall thickness control, casting integrity and material
specifications are also common.
TURBOCHARGERS |
Complimentary to
manifold capability, the company has over 10 years experience in
producing turbocharger compressor castings covering the same
engine size range and material. |
CRANKSHAFTS |

The advent of ADI
(Austempered Ductile Iron) has led to more manufacturers using
this material. Crankshafts have been one area of demand in this
material. |
GENERAL
ENGINEERING |
The foundry has a
well established capability to produce most of the ferrous
specifications used in day to day operation, and is therefore
able to undertake commissions for the supply of a very wide
range of casting types and materials from General Engineering.
The UK steel industry and mining would be typical of our
existing clients in this sector. |
