increasing daily to enable the incessant demand for faster responses and
lower costs to be addressed.
To meet this challenge, SCC has invested
in the ProEngineer CAD system and expert operating personnel.

Using ProEngineer, SCC can now
liaise with
clients on casting design and development by electronic interaction,
significantly speeding up casting design at the concept stage.
|
|
Using the ProCasting module, SCC now
designs and controls patterns and coreboxes to be produced by CNC or
Rapid Prototyping methods (predominantly L.O.M.) without the necessity
for hard copy drawings, thereby reducing sample or prototype lead-times. |
